Happy October!

Happy October! If you didn't already know, today is the first day of October and Halloween is exactly 30 days away! YAY! Halloween is a really fun holiday...I just love getting all that candy-especially snickers!
Today Sunny started to take our annual autumn photos. Each season she takes new pics of us as our "portraits". My summer portrait was taken in Yosemite and is the picture of me standing on a fence in front of a lake. This picture can be seen in the sidebar under "Frosted Meadows Girls". She only has done Kirsten, though, so far. Here are the pictures:

Did you like the pics? Sunny was trying to experiment with photo editing and she thinks that it looks pretty cool. I think the pink lettering in Kirsten Larson could've been a little brighter because it's a bit hard to see, though. If you have any photo taking tips, Sunny and I would love to hear them!

Sick :-(

Believe it or not, Rebecca was the one who changed my mind about music! I was supposed to change hers!!! I actually am starting to see why she likes Bach and Beethoven...it is so relaxing to listen to when you're sick, like I am. :-( Yep, I caught a bug. I have a fever of 100 degrees and my throat is so sore! I feel miserable.

But being sick does have it's advantages. Sitting here in Sunny's bed makes you think about things. Like how AG is retiring Kirsten! Sunny is so mad because Kirsten is her favorite Historical doll and they're going to retire her. I mean, Kirsten and Samantha are part of the original 3 American Girl dolls. It makes her think that Molly could be next! :-( Kirsten was so sad when she found out she'd be joining Sam in the archives. I just gave her a huge hug...hope I didn't get her sick...

I've also been thinking about Halloween. I'm being Minnie Mouse and Rebecca is being Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Sunny got our costumes at Disney and they are absolutely adorable. I can't wait to go trick-or-treating! Candy, here Cali comes!!!

Another thing I've been pondering while laying in Sunny's comfortable bed and eating chicken noodle soup is the rain! It's been so rainy here. I hate it! It makes me feel even worse :-(

Well, sorry for such a here-and-there post! I'm going to listen to Beethoven's 9th Symphony while I try to go to sleep. Bye, everyone!

Time Traveling With Kirsten- Part 1

Today Jane, Lauren and Rachelle we
nt to the mall. They invited moi but instead I decided to stay at home and read a Harry Potter book. As soon as I thought I had Sunny's room to myself Kirsten and Madi barged in wearing... pioneer clothes!?! "What on Earth is going on?" I wondered, suspiciously. "Kirsten invited me to go time traveling to the 1800's with her!" Madi exclaimed excitedly. "Oh, ok," I said looking at Kirsten. "As long as you guys are back b
y dinner." "We will," agreed Kirsten. "This is going to be so much fun!" I waved goodbye and then the two vanished into thin air...

"Are we here?" Madi asked.
"Yes," Kirsten said, grinning. "Isn't it beautiful?"
"Um, it looks like we're still in Sunny
's room..." Madi admitted.
"We aren't!" Kirsten shouted. "Do you see Cali? Noelle? Julie?"
"Um...no," Madi said.
"See?" Kirsten spread her arms out and beamed. "Welcome to 1854!"

Suddenly, a girl dressed in Native-American threads walked towards Madi and Kirsten. "This is my Indian friend, Kaya," Kirsten said. "Kaya, Madi. Madi, Kaya."
Madi and Kaya waved to each other. "This is Claw, my bear cub friend," Kaya said. Madi and Kirsten petted Claw's head. "His parents have disappeared and I'm out looking for them."
"Awww," Kirsten cooed. "Poor thing." (Did I mention she has a soft spot for animals?)
"We'll help you find them!" Madi exclaimed, looking at Kirsten. "Right, Kirsten?"
"Of course!" Kirsten agreed.
Kaya's eyes glowed. "Great! Hurry! I saw some pawprints in the dirt by the creek..."

To be continued........ ;-)
